SSC is stand for “ Staff Selection Commission “. This organization conducts various examination for the selection of candidates as a Government employee.
Various Examinations conducted by SSC are:
1. Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL)
2. Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 10+2 Examination
3. Multitasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination
4. Scientific Assistant Exam
5. Stenographers Grade 'C' and 'D' Examination
6. SSC Constables (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF Examination
7. Sub Inspector In CPOs Exam
8. Junior Engineer (Civil & Elect) Examination
9. Junior Translators (CSOLS) /Junior Hindi Translators Examination
10. Section Officer (Audit | Commercial) Examination
11. Food Corporation of India (FCI) Examination
12. Lower Division Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDC)

SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination. Staff Selection Commission - Combined Graduate Level Examination, often referred to as SSC CGL is an examination conducted to recruit staff to various posts in ministries, departments and organizations of the Government of India.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (Hindi: कर्मचारीचयनआयोग) is a GOVT OF INDIA organization to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. Exam conducted by SSC 1-SSC(CHSL) 2- SSC(CGL) 3-SSC (CPO)

Eligibility
A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 01-08-2015. *There are relaxations for various categories such as Defence Personnel, SC/ST, etc.
Scheme of Examination
The examination will consist of a Written Examination and Skill Test for the post of Data Entry Operator and Written Test and Typing Test for the post of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant & Lower Division Clerk on Computer.
Written Examination
The Paper will consist of Objective Type- Multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi for Part-I, III & IV. Duration: 2 Hours
